Teacher's Notes Explained!
I share a lot of information about the Greek meanings of key words in each verse. We also go into the Greek Grammar of key verbs. The grammar really adds flavor to the meaning of a verb opening up a better understanding of the word and entire verse!
There is an "old saying" that "a picture is worth a 1,000 words"! Studying the Greek meaning and grammar of key words in a verse paints us a picture of that verse!
These notes contain most of the Greek meanings and list the Grammar I share in each bible study. To help understand the meaning of the various grammars, I will include a separate file on the Teacher Notes page entitled Greek Grammar Defined for Our Bible Study Adobe. The Teacher Notes file will list the specific grammar for a word, but the meaning of the grammar will be explained in the Greek Grammar Defined file.
They may also include some related bible verses. These "Teacher Notes" are NOT like a commentary or a typical bible study booklet but they could be a great way to preview the bible study or review after attending the bible study. The notes offer memory refreshers to key parts of each verse as you reflect upon the verses.
These "Teacher Notes" could also be a nice enhancement to your own personal bible study during your devotions. They could be beneficial if you missed one of our bible studies as you will be able to catch some of the material we discussed.
The notes may be a nice starting point for someone who desires to host/teach their own bible study from the Book of Ephesians. Please feel free to use these notes as you feel led by our Heavenly Father!
The main text I utilize in the bible study is the New International Version (NIV) but I also include references to the NASB, KJV, and AMP versions because each translation brings out a unique aspect of the Greek word behind each of the translations in each verse.
My prayer is that these notes will be a blessing to those who use them!
