This page offers the "Teaching Notes" that I use for teaching each section
of the book of Philippians in a "verse by verse" fashion.
I share a lot of information about the Greek meanings of key words in each verse during the bible study. We also go into the Greek Grammar of key verbs. The grammar really adds flavor to the meaning of a verb opening up a better understanding of the word and entire verse!
There is an "old saying" that "a picture is worth a 1,000 words"! Studying the Greek meaning and grammar of key words in a verse paints for us a VIVID picture of that verse!
For those who like to take notes, I include in the bible study files listed below most if not all of the information of Greek meanings and the Grammar I share in each bible study to save you time in recording information about the Greek. I leave space between the Greek notes so you can be on the same physical page as my own personal notes. This will help those who take notes to be better organized with what they record.
I also include a separate file below the Teacher Notes page entitled Greek Grammar Defined for Our Bible Study Adobe. The Teacher Notes file will list the specific grammar for a word, but the meaning of the grammar will be explained in the Greek Grammar Defined file.
The notes may be a nice starting point for someone who desires to host/teach their own bible study from the Book of Philippians. Please feel free to use these notes as you feel led by our Heavenly Father!
The main text I utilize in the bible study is the New International Version (NIV) but I also include references to the NASB, KJV, and AMP versions because each translation brings out a unique aspect of the Greek word behind each of the translations in each verse.
My prayer is that these notes will be a blessing to those who use them!
((These notes are in Adobe Acrobat format, so you will need a copy of the freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader software.))
